Andrea van Webber
Andrea van Webber hat ein Atelier und eine Werkstatt auf einem 100-jährigen holländischen Hausboot im Hafen von Kopenhagen. Andrea ist ausgebildete Produktdesignering der Dänischen Designschule und Rhode Island School of Art and Design.
Sie designt und produziert Keramik-Urnen seit 2001 und im Jahre 2010 designte und entwickelte Sie das Konzept der Aschen-Schmuckstücke. Dies sind einzigartige Schmuckstücke, bei denen ein kleiner Teil der Asche von einem verstorbenen Haustier stammt und mit Porzellan oder eingekapselten Glasperlen vermischt ist.
Auf dem Bild arbeitet Andrea an einem Stück in ihrer Werkstatt, mit Aussicht über ”Amager Fælled” und dem Wasser.
Das Wasser und die Natur sind große Inspirationsquellen in ihrer Arbeit.
